Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a lifelong, brain based disorder that can cause serious disruptions including problems with focus and attention, anger, relationships, employment, learning/comprehension, parenting, time management/organization, and even vulnerability to addictions. ADHD often runs in families and is more common that you may think. Often undiagnosed and treated, yet seen in 4% of adults, ADHD can be the cause of years of underachievement and frustration.

Come and learn the myths and facts about ADHD as well as options for treatment.  Day one includes a screening of the excellent, humorous, and fast-paced DVD – “ADD & LOVING IT?!” starring Patrick McKenna and Rick Green from the Canadian comedy hit The Red Green Show.

Open to adults, parents of children with ADHD, and community service providers.

Get the facts, be encouraged, and get your questions answered by a local therapist with over 15 years experience in the mental health field working with children and adults with ADHD.
